At Rent a Boat Miami, our main goal is for every guest to enjoy an unforgettable experience at sea, in complete safety and comfort. To achieve this, we have established a set of rules and warnings that all passengers must follow during their voyage.These policies not only guarantee the safety of passengers and crew, but also the preservation of our vessels and the natural environment in which we sail.

🛟 General Rules on Board

- Supervision of Minors:
Adults must accompany children at all times. Children under 7 years of age must wear a life jacket at all times.

Swimming: Swimming skills are required to enter the water.

Prohibitions:
- Diving from the boat is not permitted.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin or interior areas.
- Hookahs, drugs, and weapons are not permitted on board.
- No red wine or glass cups are allowed (to avoid stains and accidents).
- No unauthorized burners or cooking equipment is allowed.

Conduct on board:
- No standing on the platform when the yacht is moving.
- No shoes on deck.
- No sitting, standing, or dancing on the tables.
- No littering under any circumstances.

🌊 Environmental Commitment

At Rent a Boat Miami, we respect the ocean. If any passenger is found throwing trash into the water, the trip will be suspended until the situation is resolved, and that time will be deducted from the reservation.

🧑‍✈️ Captain's Authority

The Captain and crew are responsible for safety on board. Their instructions must be followed at all times. Failure to comply may result in suspension of service without refund.

⚠️ Important Warnings

- Not recommended for people with back or heart problems, or serious medical conditions.
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- Not wheelchair accessible.
- Minimum drinking age: 21.

Cancellation Policies

All deposit payments are non-refundable, but transferable with management approval. Trip funds may be rescheduled without penalty to future charter dates if our office is notified of the cancellation and rescheduling at least 30 days prior to the originally scheduled departure date. The new date must take place within 12 months of the originally scheduled departure date.

CANCELLATIONS AND WEATHER PROHIBITION  

In the event of extreme weather such as a hurricane, thunderstorm, or tornado that makes it dangerous to be on the water, the owner reserves the right to reschedule the departure at no additional charge. All deposits are non-refundable. The Captain has the final decision on whether a charter should be rescheduled due to extreme weather. Rain does not constitute grounds for cancellation or rescheduling.
